Arsenal 1-1 Sevilla Draw
Arsene Wenger's Arsenal young Gunners battled to a 1-1 draw with Sevilla which all but secured the Amsterdam Tournament for Arsenal.
With one eye on next week's Champions League qualifier against FC Twente the Arsenal manager opted for a youthful starting XI -- with an average age of just 19 years and six months -- following a superb comeback win over hosts Ajax yesterday.
Justin Hoyte, a reported target for Middlesbrough, Wales Under-21 international Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere all featured, as did winger Jay Emmanuel-Thomas -- in the senior side for the first time.
However, it was teenage Mexican striker Carlos Vela who stole the show with a superb finish after only four minutes and proved enough to give Arsenal a hard-earned result, which should secure a successful title defence even after Ajax have played Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan in this evening's final match.
